Hard tags or adhesive labels: which to use?
Hard tags are attached to the product and reused indefinitely: at checkout they are removed with the detacher. Ideally they go on a spot where forced removal would ruin the item.
Adhesive labels stick to the product or packaging with a very strong glue: after 72 hours it is fully cured and cannot be removed without damaging the surface or the label. They are single-use and deactivated by the cashier with the deactivator.
